UPY2024 Competition dates & deadlines
Please remember these dates!
Here are the important dates for the 2024 Underwater Photographer of the Year competition. There is no need to wait until the last minute to submit your images as you can always delete and re-submit different photos should you change your mind before the final submission deadline.
1 November 2023 - Website opens for registration and entries to be submitted online.
5 January 2024 - Closing date for all entries (midnight GMT), no other images will be accepted after this date.
7 - 9 January 2024 - In-person judging.
9 January 2024 - RAW images files will be requested from short-listed photographers.
12 January (midnight GMT) - Deadline to send RAW images for scrutiny.
As soon as possible after this, all entrants will be invited to see how each of their images progressed through the contest via our bespoke feedback system.
