On a sunny morning in March 2022, I snorkelled in a rock pool. I was searching for tiny species. After severals minutes, I've found this Costasiella, better known as Shawn The Sheep Slug, gambolling on the seaweeds. I held my breath and waited and waited, in order to be in the right place, and to capture face to face this cute picture.
Judge's comment: Shawn The Sheep slugs are really tiny. And this actually makes compact cameras particularly suitable for photographing them because they record more depth of field at these magnifications. Right camera, right subject: a winning combination.
