'Garden eel in the Sun'

Normally the garden eels will disappear if you go to close. But this one was very relaxed and allowed me to come close enough to take some pictures. Here I was using the double exposure technique with the settings in the camera. The first shoot was in the beginning from this dive, near the surface. Then we found the relaxed eel and I had the chance to complete my double exposure.

Judge's comment: A double exposure, performed in-camera, really tests the technique of a photographer, especially with a challenging subject like this garden eel. Enrico has excelled here capturing only what he wants and every aspect in pinsharp focus.
