Descending into the clear, Bahamian water, our Jaws dropped, with up to 9 tigers patrolling. What Epic diving. We were feline brave and I managed to capture this pair in a purr-fect formation over the sargassum. A slow-shutter speed combined with panning shows their powerful, dynamic ability. Judge's comment: Some techniques produce tiresome images when they are oft repeated or, more importantly, inappropriately used. Motion blur, as here, is one of these techniques which, when applied to sharks, is never inappropriate but is oft repeated. As a result if a shot is to enter the winners enclosure it must be exceptional and this is.
