I got used to go fishing in the river to take some shots few days after big rains which make the riverbed go higher and make some big floods. The stream of the river is strong but still practicable in freediving draines a lot of snatched plants, leaves and branches.
Those bring a lot o colors which showcase this colorless New caledonian carp very present in our rivers.

Judge's comment: Such a much deserved winner of this compact category. The author has made the carp stand out against a colourful background of yellow, greens and reds. The hint of colour in the sky sets this image off to perfection.
